Platform Issue: No to Anti-Choice Democrats!

Rather than developing a robust platform that clearly identifies its commitments for the U.S. public, the Democratic Party is increasingly shying away from even the remaining few stances that separate them from their opposition. Most recently, the nine Democratic women in the Senate publicly supported Bob Casey, Jr., a Senate contender who opposes abortion rights. More on the need for a truly progressive Democratic Party that operates on its own terms, and is not defined by the right-wing.
